2012CHRISTMAS ORNAMENTS

Yes, 2012. For some reason I never posted pics of the ornaments I made for family in Florida.
I didn't pic the best picture for this one.  Hard to see the name.  Beautiful Martha Stewart black glitter inside and red shiny vinyl for the name.  All also have handmade ornament hooks.
For a Pittsburgh Steeler fan.
I love all the purple.  Again, I am so glad I went with the Martha Stewart glitter, it is wonderful.
Pink, green & white.  What wonderful color combo.
Another one I should have picked a better picture for.
Loved this ribbon so thought I'd change it up a bit and just tie a basic knot.
Such pretty beads, yet I didn't have hardly any for the current project I am working on.
And for a much younger Steeler fan.
All made it to Florida in 1 piece.  Stay tuned for this years ornaments.

SIMPLY B STAMPS FACEBOOK FAN PAGE CHALLENGE

Isn't this one of the cutest images you have ever seen!  Definitely one of my favorites.  This is my take on the Indian Betty digi created and provided by Simply Betty Stamps.  The challenge for November on her Facebook fan page was to use feathers with this image.  She is colored with copics, to the best of my ability.  Paper is DCWV, one of the fall stacks.  Added some Recollections gems I found at Michaels (love them) and a few feathers I found in my stash.  And lots of dimensionals. Please check out Indian Betty and all of Betty's wonderful images at www.simplybstamps.net

JINGLE BELL SHADOWBOX

Decided to make a shadowbox for the holiday season.  Purchased an 8x8 shadowbox from Michaels, bogo.  The "Jingle all the way" phrase I purchased the cuttable file from Kerri Bradford Studios.  Cut with my cricut, yes I still have the original Expression and have never updated as well as Make The Cut with no updates as well.  Time to open up the Cameo I ordered middle of September. Anyway cut it out of black vinyl.  The background card stock is from a Martha Stewart paper pack cut to size.  Jingle bells from Michaels, 40% off, yah.  Finished it off with ribbon all the way around the frame tied in a bow.  Plan to give this to my wonderful Stampin Up demo, Cathi Lester.

MY SPELLBINDERS SNOWFLAKE TAG

Boy did this take so much longer
to make then I thought it would.  But I'm sure the next one will go much smoother.  I started out with the Lacey Circle SPELLBINDERS die.  All white paper is water color paper, i think 100 lb.  Added Spellbinders circle in Stampin Up Gumball Green or Green Gumball.  Then 2 layers on one if the snowflakes from the SPELLBINDERS Create-A-Flake Four.  The little pieces that came out of the centers of the long parts I sponged with same color ink and glued to tips.  Added 2 other layers of snowflakes from the same Spellbinders set.  I attached the ribbon, Stampin Up Green Gumball, between the Lacey circle and circle die cut by tacking with tombo tape and a dab of Tombo in green & white bottle.  Layered all with a pop dot and added Stampin Up pearls.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BETTY!!!

So sly little Corinne whipped up this blog hop to celebrate the birthday of Betty of Simply Betty Stamps.  Betty is so good to us over at the Simply B Stamps Facebook fan page.  Too bad we couldn't have all gathered in 1 spot to have a HUGE party for her.  Everyone listed in the hop below made a wonderful birthday card for Betty and she will be getting those in the mail for several days.  Please hop along and check out all the wonderful cards.

So I originally was not going to do an inked image for this hop.  Then I seen how gorgeous this image by Tamara van Wijk.  You can find the image at
http://thestampingchef.oo.gd/Store/
I had no sentiment that fit this image so she was left blank with a note instead.  I hope she likes it.

OCTOBER FORTUNE TELLER BETTY

My choice for this months Simply Betty Stamps Facebook Fan Page challenge was Fortune Teller Betty.   I decided since it is October to do a Pink Ribbon theme.  Betty is colored with copic markers.  I used some Spellbinder dies and lots of pop dots.  Added some gems for her necklace and earrings as well as around the Spellbinder cut outs.  Also added some liquid embossing gel to the crystal ball.  You can find Fortune Teller Betty at www.simplybstamps.net.

SIMPLY BETTY STAMPS BLOG AUGUST CHALLENGE

Here is another gorgeous digital stamp from Simply Betty Stamps.  Her name is Mercedes.  I colored her with Copic markers then created a framed 12x12 shadow box frame.  Had a bunch of these frames in the closet and really wanted to make something with them.  All paper is DCWV.  I added some Wild Orchid flowers and some Recollections bling along with some spider webbing on the inside as well as out.  Along the inside of the glass I made a spider border using my Martha Stewart border punch.  Here are some more pics.
