SIMPLY B STAMPS FACEBOOK FAN PAGE CHALLENGE

Isn't this one of the cutest images you have ever seen!  Definitely one of my favorites.  This is my take on the Indian Betty digi created and provided by Simply Betty Stamps.  The challenge for November on her Facebook fan page was to use feathers with this image.  She is colored with copics, to the best of my ability.  Paper is DCWV, one of the fall stacks.  Added some Recollections gems I found at Michaels (love them) and a few feathers I found in my stash.  And lots of dimensionals. Please check out Indian Betty and all of Betty's wonderful images at www.simplybstamps.net

JINGLE BELL SHADOWBOX

Decided to make a shadowbox for the holiday season.  Purchased an 8x8 shadowbox from Michaels, bogo.  The "Jingle all the way" phrase I purchased the cuttable file from Kerri Bradford Studios.  Cut with my cricut, yes I still have the original Expression and have never updated as well as Make The Cut with no updates as well.  Time to open up the Cameo I ordered middle of September. Anyway cut it out of black vinyl.  The background card stock is from a Martha Stewart paper pack cut to size.  Jingle bells from Michaels, 40% off, yah.  Finished it off with ribbon all the way around the frame tied in a bow.  Plan to give this to my wonderful Stampin Up demo, Cathi Lester.

MY SPELLBINDERS SNOWFLAKE TAG

Boy did this take so much longer
to make then I thought it would.  But I'm sure the next one will go much smoother.  I started out with the Lacey Circle SPELLBINDERS die.  All white paper is water color paper, i think 100 lb.  Added Spellbinders circle in Stampin Up Gumball Green or Green Gumball.  Then 2 layers on one if the snowflakes from the SPELLBINDERS Create-A-Flake Four.  The little pieces that came out of the centers of the long parts I sponged with same color ink and glued to tips.  Added 2 other layers of snowflakes from the same Spellbinders set.  I attached the ribbon, Stampin Up Green Gumball, between the Lacey circle and circle die cut by tacking with tombo tape and a dab of Tombo in green & white bottle.  Layered all with a pop dot and added Stampin Up pearls.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BETTY!!!

So sly little Corinne whipped up this blog hop to celebrate the birthday of Betty of Simply Betty Stamps.  Betty is so good to us over at the Simply B Stamps Facebook fan page.  Too bad we couldn't have all gathered in 1 spot to have a HUGE party for her.  Everyone listed in the hop below made a wonderful birthday card for Betty and she will be getting those in the mail for several days.  Please hop along and check out all the wonderful cards.

So I originally was not going to do an inked image for this hop.  Then I seen how gorgeous this image by Tamara van Wijk.  You can find the image at

I had no sentiment that fit this image so she was left blank with a note instead.  I hope she likes it.
