Here is a card I created last week. Base is a pink from a Recollections card pack. Printed paper I got from AC Moore, I think on clearance called Charlie Bubbles. DCWV green at bottom punched with EK Success bubble border with a DCWVbrown under, ribbon tied on. Scalloped circle and inner circle from Spellbinders dies. "Live" stamp is from $1 bin at Michaels. Flower is from Hampton Arts "Fabulous Flowers" both stamped with Stazon brown. Added dew drop to center of flower. Inside is stamped with clear stamp from Cloud 9 "Memories" set.

Frame for Chia
Went to Michaels to buy a shadow box frame for this project and ended up with this frame. I really like it. Kind of a gold/green to it. Got 1/4 sheet of mat board and cut frames with my mat cutter I have had for, o, 12+ years. This was 2nd one and my hands hurt too much to try a 3rd. This will have to do for now. Printed the poem on a light green marbled parchment paper. Wanted to do it on watercolor paper but it wouldn't go thru printer. Now this will set up on a shelf with her urn.
Patterened Bugs
Patterened cardstock is from DCWV Butterflys & Blossoms stack. All plain paper is also DCWV. Stamped front butterfly with Inkadinkado "Patterened Bugs" set in Color Box pink. Added some teeny tiny gemstones. Matted using Spellbinders Label One dies. Stamped border of green with a Martha Stewart border punch then added ribbon. Inside left, same border punch and Ink. Patterened Bugs butterfly's in various Color Box colors. Center- reminds me of a puppet stage. Cut a window out with my Marvy punch and punched a scalloped border out with also Marvy. Added 2 pink pieces with swirlies from Hampton Arts "Fabulous Flowers". Solid dangly butterfly is a Marvy punch and other is Martha Stewart. Hung them with thread, should have tried fishing line. Right side stamped verse from TPC "Playful Expressions" in Color Box pink and VersaMagic Pixie Dust. Die cut with Spellbinders Scalloped Rectangle. Then scattered some flowers I made from 3 different size Marvy daisy punches with brad centers.
Kinda tired of looking at this one. Ever get that way? Maybe if I put it away for a few weeks then look at it?

Here is a card I had made for a swap but
then realized I was supposed to use
Stampin Up stamps. The base is DCWV
Espresso. Inside and outside yellow is also
DCWV. Green is from a Recollections
paper pack. Flower stamps are Hampton
Arts "Fabulous Flowers" which I stamped
with Stazon ink. Sentiment is Cloud 9
Designs "Memories". And of course added
a ribbon.

2 Bookmarks
1st bookmarks for me. Flower one is on a pretty heavy metallic rosey cardstock. I don't have it pictured but the back is embossed with the Cuttlebug Floral Fantacy folder. Bookmark is longer then the folder so I had to try to blend the seam in. They should make the pattern so you can do that. Front is using a Cuttlebug smaller embossing folder, don't remember the name of the set. Used my Brilliance Rocket Red ink pad to highlight embossed area then added fuzzy string at top.
Other bookmark is on the same heavy cardstock in a metallic copper color. Then used the smaller Cuttlebug folder to make the thingies on the front, what would you call them? I am drawing a blank. Also used a Brilliance copper ink for highlights. Added some wider lacey ribbon at the top.
I made these for a swap and they were actually supposed to have a blue theme but I didn't remember that when I made them.

Male Birthday cards
Here are 2 Birthday cards I made for a Cuttlebug swap. Top card I used the birthday embossing folder and the Rock Star stamp set from Inkadinkado. Used my Martha Stewart star border punch and added ribbon. Also stamped inside and envelope to match.
Bottom card is with Swiss Dots embossing folder and Great Outdoors stamp set also from Inkadinkado. Ribbon was some clearences stuff from Michaels, yes one of those many, many spools of ribbon I have purchased and never used. I just love pretty ribbon. Also stamped inside and matching envelope. Used some decorative scissors with both also.

New upload
Well, it seems I had to change back to the old editor. Don't know why. I believe I used the new on for the last few posts. Was having problems making a new post and never can I find anyone else with the same problem. I could put a title in but this box where you post your message and upload your picture just wouldn't load. Maybe there are still some kinks they are having to work out. O well, I am back in action!!!
New Music
Well, I have been putting off for some time adding some new songs to my playlist. I tried writting a song down if I thought of one or heard one I wanted on the radio. So, last night I added and there are now about 30+ here. I hope you like and listen to often. I enjoy opening up my page to listen to when I am working on here. I think there are still 2 that I can think of now to add. Maybe tonight.

Scrapbook Page Swap 6x6
When looking thru some photos the other day, I got an idea for a swap. Want to see what some of you think about a 6x6 scrapbook page swap? 3+1, any stamp set, 2 layers, embellishments..... 1-2 photo spaces per page. I thought it would be nice to do this every month so that at the end of the year, everyone involved would have maybe a couple scrapbooks to give as gifts or just keep for yourself. I thought 2 or 3 different themes each month would give a nice variety. How cute would it be to give Grandma or Auntie a photo album for Christmas? Getting 3 different pages back each month, that could be 3 albums.
I like to think I keep good track of my swaps so if you are wanting to join and maybe you are one that doesn't do events like Halloween for example, just let me know and I will mark that down and be sure not to send you a Halloween themed page. I would like to limit the exceptions to holidays only.
I think this could be a really cute and fun swap. I myself have never made 6x6 pages but I do have several 6x6 scrapbooks that need some pages put in them. I have done 6x6 recipe cards and just love them.
Anyone interested please email me

Swap anyone???
2010 Monthly Card Swap
Email me to sign up- JrnyFanIAm@aol.com
5+1 cards, not just fronts. What ever size you prefer but lets do matching envelopes too. I don't know about all of you but I love my envelopes to match my cards.
2 requirements: at least 1 stamped image and 1 die cut or embossed element. Then, all the glitz and glam you would like. Don't forget the envelope, stamp it? emboss it? Both? As long as it matches the card.
Also, please let everyone know what the recipe is for your creation. I like printing mine up like business cards and enclosing it with each card. You don't need business cards to do this, just cardstock or even plain old paper.
Put your items in a resealable bag before mailing. Also enclose a SASE for your return cards along with 1 extra .17 stamp incase the return envelope weighs more then the one you are sending. I will return any unused postage to you with your cards.
Sign-ups till 10th. Mail your cards to me by Feb 20, mail them, they don't have to be received by then. Once all are received, I will divide them up and return them and any unused postage to you right away.

Themes for February are
SPRING
ST. PAT'S DAY
BLUE & SILVER (OR GRAY)
So Make all your cards the same using one of these themes.
So we have 10 days to sign up and 20 days to get your cards & envelopes made. Don't forget to make an extra for yourself for I don't want to give you your own card back in the swap, unless we happen to not get enough signed up.
I hope I didn't ramble on too much and I do hope we get lots of sign-ups. I would love to do another swap next month.
Any questions, please let me know.
O, one more thing. I know some of you might think I am crazy for mentioning this but DO NOT sign your cards like you are giving them to your niece for her birthday. Whatever type of signature you may put on the back is just fine but if they are signed on the inside, that defeats the purpose of doing a swap. I know everyone thinks this is a given but I have received several cards in a single swap before that the girl hand wrote messages on the inside of the card making them unusable.
