New Bookmark
Created this for Karen to go along with the birthday card. I used the same beads as on the card. Hooked double jump rings together, not fun, and attached the beads on the jump rings. The bottom one is heart shaped, she likes hearts and purple. I had went back to JoAnn's yet again last night because I was going to buy chain to do this on but couldn't decide what to put on opposite end of ribbon. Well, I spotted the butterfly. It is a Jolee's and very pretty. I had to take the large thingie ma-du off that you would put your chain/ribbon thru cause it was just too large looking. I just attached it with double jump rings also. It is prettier then it looks in the pic.
Latest tri-fold
I wish I could figure out why these don't always load in the order I want them too? Anyway this is a card I created for my dear friend Karen. What a wonderful woman! It took me a couple of days because I just couldn't decide what else to do with it. I started out with a piece of purple cardstock. Cut the face pieces from misc scrapbook paper. Used all Spellbinder dies. Stamped cover image with Green Stazon and with Inkadinkado "Flower Sentiments". Inside phrase is from Stampin Up "Love Ya Bunches" and butterfly from Inkadinkado "Garden Words". Yes I like to mix it up a bit. Happy Birthday is also from a Stampin UP set, not sure which one, I just have the loose stamp. The little tulip on the bottom which I don't think I like there is also from the Garden Words set. The beads I had a ball with, not. The top is a pretty purple wrapped in wire I found at JoAnn Fabrics. They came on a strand and used more of them for the bookmard that is next. The light green one is just a misc I had in my stash. I have a whole big canvas tote with beading supplies in it but do you think I had 1 regular jump ring? NO! Lots of doubles but no plain old ordinary jump ring. Can't use the double cause I would surely rip the paper. So, had to take another trip to JoAnn's, which I never mind doing especially since they still have new items to put out. Found these oval shaped ones from Blue Moon. The only bad thing is if you don't stand the card just right, it is heavy on the bead side. Maybe I should have dangled one from the back side too? I think this card needs something more too, or maybe just something done differently?
My Card
This is a card I created for a Birthday Card swap I hosted. Used misc paper, I have lots of it, in shade of blue and shade of green. White cardstock which I used Spellbinder die. Misc birthday stamp set, think it is from $1 box at JoAnn's. Cut cupcake with Paper Shapers punches and added dew drops. I am thinking I stamped birthday phrase on inside but I didn't take a pic of that apparently. Also stamped the envelope.

Cuttlebug Birthday cards
A couple birthday cards I made using Cuttlebug folders. Various papers including DCWV, Stampin Up and misc scrapbook paper. Used the Swiss Dots folder and Happy Birthday folder. The butterfly is Martha Stewart punch. Yellow & Black card I used misc stamps. And a few dew drops to hide a spot of ink I didn't notice till I was done with the cards. Don't tell anyone.

My 1st Tri-fold card
Thought I would try one of these. Just a quickie I made up for my sisters birthday. I used DCWV paper, I believe Blossoms & Butterflies. The stamp is one of my favorites, Inkadinkado - one of the Mindscapes. Had originally bought the wooden one then Michaels got in new clear sets which included this along with 4 others, and the set was $1 cheaper then the 1 wooden one. So, yes, I did take it back and get the set. Stamped with Brilliance Pearlescents Sky Blue then embossed. Had to use the toaster oven because I burned up my heat gun trying to take tiles off the bathroom floor. I now have a new one. Can't remember which "Happy Birthday" stamp I used. I know it could use some more embellishing. Next time, this one was a last minute quickie.
