HAPPY BIRTHDAY RIO

Here is a card for the birthday girl, Rio.  Rio is Betty's daughter from Simply Betty Stamps.  She is a digi from Betty's site.  More practicing with Copics.  My shading is really off.  Embossed purple cardstock with new Anna Griffin embossing folder after using candle punch along top.  I think the "Birthday Wishes" is from an Inkadinkado set and punched with Stampin Up punches.  Added 2 little dew drops.  Cut apart a rhinestone embellisment and used the middle of it on inside of card.  I hope Rio likes it.

STEAMPUNK CHALLENGE

If you haven't been to Simply Betty's store you need to.  She has so many wonderful digi's as well as rubber stamps.  This Steampunk is my 1st and she was done for a challenge on Betty's facebook fan group page.  My 1st Steampunk, 1st challenge and 1st time coloring with Copics.  I will be practicing daily.  The rosette is Tim Holtz.

Birthday Butterfly

I have put off buying this punch long enough.  It will go on my next order.  I normally put all my cards in a box or binder.  Don't ask why I don't use them cause I don't know but this one I am gonna send to my sister in Florida for her birthday.  It was last month but everyone knows they never recieve anything on time from me.

SWALLOWTAIL

New Stampin Up Swallowtail stamp.  Isn't it wonderful!  Stamped with VersaMark and embossed.  Then with tiny paint brush, lightly painted with bleach, yes bleach.  Lightens up cardstock.  Sentiment is also Stampin Up but really don't remember what set it comes from.

A few cards from last couple months

Here are a few Christmas cards I made in my monthly Stampin Up class that I attend.  Cathie Lester is such a wonderful lady.

The snowman is from Stampin Up.  Other 2 I made using some embossing folders.  I have so many and wanted to do something with them.

 Some more Stampin Up.

I believe these go back to 2011.  I can't believe how behind I am on this blog.

The acorn card is the 1st card I made when joining Cathie Lesters Stampin Up class.

Cat Frosted Frame

Same as Dog frame but a little fishy on frame.

Dog Frosted Frame

Got this idea from a clients house. I believe the frame she had was probably bought. Mine.....handmade. Bought a set of shadow box frames from Michaels for I think $10 for the 3. Put my Cricut to use, actually designed on Gypsy several weeks back so I don't know if I remember exactly where everything came from. I think the "W" is from Gypsy Font and "oof" from Plantin School Book. The scallop frame from Animal Kingdom. I cut out of vinyl then put on glass and used the etching cream. There is a little bone in lower left corner of frame but you can't see it in the pics. I then lined the inside with printed cardstock from DCWV "Pets" pack and added a plain cardstock coordinating color also from DCWV.

Graduation Cards

Yes, graduation. I know it was the beginning of June. I have been very busy and haven't even had time to actually look at all my emails. So gonna try to get up to speed on things. Here are 3 graduation cards I did way back when. The cap was done with Cricut Wildcard and the other two with a stamp set that for the life of me I can't remember where the stamps came from. It was a last minute purchase at Michaels. I bought 2 sets of them.

Mother's Day cards

Here are some Mother's Day cards I made. 1st card is using Rich Razzleberry paper and ink. All white cardstock is Recollections. 2nd and 3rd card are using Soft Suede and Bermuda Bay paper and ink. Cut my finger pretty good trying to open the ink, blood all over one of my cards and table, not very pleasant experience. Anyway..... All cards have an Cuttlebug embossed layer. I used my Cricut to cut out all the oval shapes. Stamp set is Stampin Up Mother's Love. Added some misc ribbon to each. The inside of the Razzleberry card is from Cricut also, I think a certificate. Took too long to poke out all the little bits so I changed to the oval.

Black/Red/White card

Here we have just plain ordinary cardstock, Recollections I think. Used my large corner rounder on all pieces, couldn't find my small one cause I put it away where it didn't belong. The black is embossed with Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder. Stamp set is Inkadinkado Flourishes and I stamped with Stazon Black and embellished with some clear gems. Inside is stamped with same stamp set. Finished with ribbon down front.
